Blink-182 play secret appearance at T-Mobile Hollywood Party

Blink-182 surprised over a thousand lucky attendees at last night's T-Mobile Party in Hollywood. For the first time in 4 years, since their out-of-left-field hiatus, the kings of pop-punk took the stage on the Paramount lot and rocked out like no time had passed. Starting off their short but amazing set with "The Rock Show," moving into "Feeling This" and ending with their classic hit "Dammit" was the perfect combination of Blink songs to end a great night. We can officially say that Blink-182 are back.

Warped Tour '08: The VIP Guide

Planning to bear the scorching sun and crowds at this summer's Warped Tour? Here's an inside guide of cool things you should know that you might not be aware of already. [cut=Get the 411.]

Ta-Da! Catering: If you get to the venue early enough before doors open, there's a chance someone on the tour will come out to the line to ask for volunteers for the day. Ta-da! Catering always gets three groups of about five kids each early in the morning to volunteer for the breakfast, lunch or dinner shifts. You get to serve the bands and crew ... in return you receive VIP passes for the day. Sometimes they take you up onstage to watch your favorite band if you serve during the dinner shift.

Girlz Garage: This one is for all the ladies! GG gets girls to volunteer, before doors open, to help with setup and to help out during the day with Keep a Breast and the other organizations there. You get a VIP pass too most of the time, and if you're a good worker, they'll take you up onstage. And the bands always stop by, so who knows who you'll be hanging out with.

Warped Reporter: If you complete all the online surveys before Warped Tour starts, you'll be randomly entered into a contest to be one of 10 people to get entry into a show and a VIP pass. You'll also get to go onstage for a band's set. The winners will be announced Sunday. Throughout the tour, random contests are also held for other chances to win a VIP pass. Music Saves Lives: If you donate blood at a local MSL blood drive, you get a VIP pass in return. No, you can't give blood at Warped Tour â�“ you'd pass out if you did. But you can sign up to become a bone-marrow donor, and you can get a VIP pass that way too. All they do is swab your cheek and drop it in an envelope. Remember, you have to be 18+ to be a bone-marrow donor. For more info, head here.

Eco Initiative: If you're up for volunteering to recycle all day in exchange for VIP perks including a ticket to the show, then this is for you. It's definitely not for the faint of heart, but for those who are passionate about making a difference. There's also other chances to win different things by recycling a few bottles here and there. You can even enter to win a trip to Saint Croix in the Virgin Islands with Warped staff and crew in the fall. For more info, click here.

Boarding for Breast Cancer: If you're passionate about raising money for B4BC, you can volunteer and get into Warped through them. E-mail volunteer@b4bc.org with your full name and city in which you'd liked to attend a show.

Warped Tour: Summer of '0H8

An epic summer is upon us, so get ready because the Mighty Mendoza will be coming to you.

I'll be out with Alternative Press on Warped Tour working with some of your favorite bands, so I expect you all to come by and say hello. I'll be doing signings, selling the infamous $5 subscriptions, and giving out the official Warped Tour program.

I'll have my handy Buzznet phone too and so will many others, so keep on the lookout for my video blogs. I'm going to try to update everyday with '60 second seshes' a look into life on the road with all my friends on tour. Who knows who'll show up.Â

Coachella Weekend begins!

I am taking a break right now from Lost & Found in the AT&T Blue Room. It's pretty nice in here. Air conditioning and they charge your phone! You can't beat that, right?

My Buzznet phone is currently charging at the momment. But I am going to try and get on stage for Tegan & Sara tonight. I'll definitely take some video for you guys. I'm also very excited to see Architecture in Helsinki and Les Savy Fav.

Is anyone else here or coming this weekend? If you are, I'll be at the Lost & Found/Information booth. It's right by the entrance as you are coming in. Next to merch actually. So come say hi or come see if your lost items have been turned in.

The Taste of Prince...

Dear ol' Buzznet, how I miss thee. Ok, ok as much as I am having Buzznet withdrawls, I am having a blast out here on the road. The shows have been crazy and everyone who has come out has been blown away! For those of you who haven't been to Taste yet wait till you see what the bands have in store for you. Flames, fireworks, and lots of explosions are in your near future.

We've been partying up almost every night on our bus having crazy dance parties. Our bus is definitely where the party is at on the tour. Last night we had a massive dance party in honor of Prince since we were in Minnieapolis/St.Paul and Bullet For My Valentine joined us. We even made a Prince party poster and it's pretty awesome if I do say so myself.

After that everyone was hanging out with the Jrock bands and it was so much fun. As much as we don't speak the same language somehow we still find a way to talk to each other. Production even made a little Japanese guide in our tour books to teach us some of the basics. I am determined to learn some of it by the end of the tour! ARIGATO! ^_^

This if my good friend Erin Caruso! She was the pit reporter for Warped Tour last summer and she's out working for Hurley on Taste. I convinced her to set-up an account on Buzznet so she can share all her professional and impecable photos of the bands. She's an amazing photographer, so expect to see some more of her photos in my journals coming up. I actually just bought a Nikon D40 so I'll also be taking, well trying to take pictures. Taste of Chaos '08 - Let the mayhem begin!

Hello my fellow Buzzneters! I'm in Denver, CO right now freezing my butt off a few days early before Taste Of Chaos starts. I'll be out on the whole tour working for Hot Topic, so if you are coming out look for me on the VIP riser in the middle of the arena. I want to meet you guys!

Tomorrow (2/28) is the rehearsal date where all the bands and crew set-up and do a run through of what needs to be done on a day to day basis. There's also a Hot Topic Meet & Greet going on in you live in the Denver area. Here's all the info:

Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, Bullet for My Valentine and MUCC from the Taste of Chaos Tour will be invading the Denver Pavilions Hot Topic located at 500 16th Street, Denver, CO 80202 on Thursday, February 28th at 5 PM. So ya wanna meet â�˜em? Chiodos pile on more tour dates, new fanclub, and radio single

The band has several more scheduled tour dates that include two performances at SXSW for the Hot Topic Showcase and Alternative Press Party. They'll also be playing several music festivals such as the Extreme Thing 2008 and both Bamboozles. Not only that, but they'll be headlining their own U.S and Canadian tour shows with other several other bands. Among the bands to join them are MxPx, The Color Fred, Protest the Hero, The Fall of Troy, From First To Last and Drop Dead Gorgeous.

Chiodos has also annonced that their new fanclub Chiobra Kai will debut in the next few weeks, so prepare yourselves! And don't forget Chiodos' next single Lexington will hit radio on March 10th. In the meantime, stay tuned for the release of the music video in the coming weeks.

Hayley has recently posted another blog entry where she addresses everyone's concerns about the demise of Paramore and puts to rest all the gossip. hello everyoneâ�¦

since we posted the last entry, weâ�™ve gotten tons of phone calls and people posting things on websites saying that we are breaking up. i just want to make it clear, though, that by posting two nights ago we werenâ�™t saying the band was over. we posted because we are going through hard times and we felt that because we have a really good support system in you guys, our fans, it would be better for us to just be honest about whatâ�™s going on - even though, it was a pretty vague explanation. man, some of the rumors that iâ�™ve heard going around are insane! itâ�™s weird how out of hand things can get even when you just try to tell a simple truth. (for the record, my eggo is not preggo). anyway, we just need to take time to make this band the best it can beâ�¦ and we are doing that now.

Bamboozle: Get the party started early

Bamboozle is just around the corner, so if you'll be attending you may want to check out this Pre-Bamboozle mini-festival that's going down the day before. The Glamour Kills Pre-Game Bash is scheduled to take place in Poughkeepsie, NY (a few hours north of East Rutherford, NJ) on May 2nd and is slated to featured a killer list of some of the best up-and-coming bands, including Just Surrender, The Audition, and Mayday Parade. Glamour Kills Clothing has teamed up with The Daily Chorus and promoter Jeff Menig Presents to put together a night of music that depicts what GK! is in show form. The event which may turn into an annual one will also be the setting where Glamour Kills intends to unveil brand new items for the first time. Taking place at The Chance Complex in Poughkeepsie, NY on Friday May 2nd 2008 bands will be playing back and forth in both The Chance Theater and The Loft rooms. In turn tickets sold to either room that night will allow attendees access to the entire complex for the price. Local sensations Just Surrender will headline the event along with a full roster of some of 2008's hottest and most buzzworthy bands.

It's going to be one massive party, so make sure that you go if you're in the area. I'll definitely be there!
